The Bearded Collie, or Beardie, is an ancient Scottish breed used mainly in the Highlands to herd sheep. Ha’Penny has been breeding beardies for good temperaments, good heath and structure for over 40 years. The beardie is an intelligent, loyal dog, but, before you think about getting one, you should know more about it, so see the About Beardies menu for more on the breed. We try to have at least one litter per year, and you can find out more about us at the About Us menu. We update information and photos about our beardies doing agility, conformation, obedience and other fun things, or just plain being beardies, from time to time on the News menu.
